Practice Manager and Lead Veterinary Technician
Courtney is a compassionate and loving individual that has had an attachment to animals since she was young. Her entire life she grew up caring for her pets and giving them the extra love and care they deserve. As she got older, she knew that it was her calling to remain caring for animals and build a career in the Veterinary Medicine field.
Courtney obtained an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from Becker College in 2011. She has continued her education and is enrolled in the Pre-Veterinary Concentration at Becker College and hopes to achieve her Bachelor’s Degree in the near future.
While working full time and raising her son, she also is taking courses to succeed in becoming a Veterinary Practice Manager. Courtney‘s main interests in the Veterinary Medicine field are surgery and anesthesia as well as client education. On her time away from work she loves to spend quality time with her son and caring for her first child…her cat, Kahli.
Part Time Veterinary Technician
Cassondra is a kindhearted animal lover that has taken many routes to care for animals since she has been young. She started her career as a veterinary assistant when she was a teenager and was able to learn all of her skills as a veterinary technician by the many years’ experience she has obtained.
Prior to working at Acton Animal Hospital, Cassondra has worked as a veterinary technician at many small animal hospitals in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for the past twelve years. Cassondra works with our team on the weekends where she is able to fulfill her love and compassion for animals.
However, her work does not stop there! Through the week she has a very busy lifestyle, which includes taking care of her three young children as a stay at home mother as well as taking care of their many furry loved ones they have adopted in to their family.
Denise has been a vital part of the Acton Animal Hospital team for the past five years. Her compassion and outgoing sense of humor is what has continued her determination to excel in the veterinary medicine field. Denise has been a veterinary technician for the past twenty years, where she has been trained in all of her skills at previous hospitals.
After raising a family, Denise has decided to continue her education in the Veterinary medicine field and is now currently enrolled at Penn Foster College where she is working towards her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology.
Denise is a very motivated and determined person and hopes to become a Certified Veterinary Technician in the near future. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren as well as taking care of her dog Harleigh and her two cats.
Liz has been a part of the Acton Animal Hospital team for the past two years. She earned her Associates degree in Veterinary Technology from Becker College in 2014. She has been working as a full time veterinary technician since then.
Liz has cared for animals her entire life and could not picture her life any other way. Bringing compassion to veterinary medicine is her main goal and she has conquered that goal for many years. We are very lucky to have Liz, who is an essential part of our team. Outside of work, Liz loves spending time shopping, hiking with her dog and hanging out with close friends.
Veterinary Technician Assistant
Grace has a big heart and is full of joy each and every day she gets to spend time in the hospital. She is a student at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School and works for us part time assisting the technicians and helps us make sure each pet feels completely safe and comfortable under our care. When Grace is not working she is spending quality time with her family, friends and her two cats. In the future Grace is considering going to college to pursue a career as a Veterinarian or Marine Biologist. We love her big heart and could not picture our hospital without her!
Brianna has been a huge animal lover her entire life! She has had numerous pets growing up and still to this day cannot live without one of her furry friends by her side. She has grown up taking care of dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits and chickens, which is why she decided to have a career working with them.
Brianna worked at a prior animal hospital for many years as a receptionist and realized how much caring for animals and their families really affected her life. Brianna has an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design from Quinsigamond Community College she obtained in 2014 and she hopes to continue her education and receive her Bachelors’ degree in the near future.
Debbie has been a devoted receptionist and part of the Acton Animal Hospital team for the past eleven years. She plays a huge part in making sure every little detail is followed through to make sure our clients receive excellent customer service before leaving the hospital.
Debbie has a huge heart and loves to show compassion for every pet that walks in the door. She feels strongly that animals are sensitive, intuitive creatures that she has been blessed to have loved each and every day. Her life would have less meaning without watching her furry family grown together. On her time off she loves to spend time with her husband, three children, her dog Lacie, two cats and three Grand-dogs.
Part Time Receptionist
Tiffany has been an essential part of our team for the past two years. She has developed a special relationship with our clients and always does her best to make each client and patient feel welcome in our practice. Tiffany works with us part time so she can take care of her young children at home as well as her yellow lab Lilly and cat Hazel. Tiffany is also a cross trained receptionist and is able to work with the technicians as an assistant in the treatment room.
